Importing from Mac OS X Mail a Google's account results in an "Authentication failed" error when trying to send a file.
The "Import from Mail" button in the Accounts pane of the preferences is a convenient way to let users to quickly fill the Outgoing Mail Server information. Unfortunatly, in some systems, the default imported data for the port is "25" instead of the correct "465" (which is one of the ports that Gmail suggests to use to send messages).
To correct this problem go to the Advanced section of the Account pane in the preferences of Filemailer and change the port from "25" to "465" in the Port field:

Drag a file over the name of the person who should receive the file (or the files) and the program deals with the compression of the file (or folder), enters the name of compressed file in the subject, inserts a text information in the body of the message and sends the file. You have just to click on the Send button. The recipient can receive normally the file with hers/his email preferred program.
